Alaska was an interesting place. They aren’t kidding around when they call it the last frontier. Seriously — there were hitchhikers and mountain men ambling down the sides of the highways in a few places. It was quite like being in a different country. I had to keep reminding myself that I was, indeed, in America.
Since no amount of words could accurately relay this trip, I decided to do a photo essay of sorts. So. Without further ado, here is the Great Photo Roundup.
In summation: it was so much fun. That’s seriously just a fraction of all the interesting/magnificent things I saw. I hiked gorgeous trails, saw lots of interesting locals, listened to the sound of glaciers shifting, took a walk across the tundra, and so much more . . . it was one heck of an experience.
Are you exploring/adventuring this summer? I’d love to hear about your travels!
